Argos stores cull ruled out


The laminated book of dreams, a perfect description from Bill Bailey about the Argos catalogue. Used by children for years as the inspiration of shopping lists for Santa and for ideas on what to spend their pocket money on. Loved by mothers because you could browse the shop while sitting at home, keeping an eye on the kids, with dinner in the oven and watching the TV (you know how ladies love to multitask).


Well some executive types have been thinking about doing away with Argos recently, but thankfully they have decided it should stay! It has been due to the drop in sales as consumer confidence has dwindled further in recent months.
